BLOGGING WATER – ALL SKILLS



BLOGGING WATER - CONTENT RESOURCES
Find a website or blog about WATER to share with the class that has interesting information. Include the following in your post:
  • Title:
  • Author OR Sponsoring organization:
  • URL: (create a hot link here to the website using the chain link button)
  • Descriptive info // why you chose this site.




BLOGGING WATER - WRITING
Write a few lines in TARGET LANGUAGE about you and your personal relationship with/perspective on/connection to WATER.

Don't forget to
a) LABEL your post by clicking SHOW ALL and choosing: BloggingWater
b) Include YOUR NAME at the end of your post.
Grading issue: Blogger does not search by author otherwise.



LISTENING TO WATER
1. Find a video about WATER in TARGET CULTURE on YouTube, TeacherTube, Vimeo.
2. Look for the EMBED button and copy and paste the embed code from the YouTube website (not the URL)
3. Place the cursor where you want the video to appear and click on the EDIT HTML tab above.
4. Paste the code.
5. Return to the COMPOSE tab and
6. Write a brief description of why you chose this video

TALKING WATER
Find a passage in TARGET LANGUAGE about WATER and recite.
OR
Tell us what you love about WATER or hate about WATER.
Use the
Hipcast phone-in or website to post your audio.






IMAGE-INE WATER  -  PHOTO CHALLENGE
Find 3 photos that represent WATER in TARGET CULTURE.
Use images with
Creative Commons license:

To post the images to the blog:
a. Copy the URL of the image (PC right-click, MAC ctrl-click)
b. Return to the blog and click on the Image icon
c. Paste the image URL in the appropriate field.

Below the image include the Source and create a hyperlink (chain-globe icon) to the original webpage/image.

When you have finished, respond to one of your classmates posts.
